Loving son of John J. and Dorothy L. (Rooney) Donovan of Dorchester. Brother of John J. "Jackie" and his wife Helen of Quincy, Maureen Bono and her husband Louis of Saugus Dorothy and her husband Jay Connolly and Anne Marie and her husband Jack Keenan all of Hanover. Bobby is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Wednesday at 9 AM.
Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, 251 Neponset Ave. Dorchester at 10:00 AM.
Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8 PM.
Burial in Centre Cemetery, Hanover.

Bobby grew up Roxbury then moved to Dorchester and then Quincy. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Bobby was a member of the Quincy Sons of Italy as well as a member of the Norfolk County Employees Union.
