Cleo B. Weiser 85, of Birch Hill Ave North Smithfield died Thursday at the Bayberry Commons Nursing Center in Burrillville. She was the wife of Harold Weiser. She was born in Putnam CT a daughter of the late Napoleon and Beatrice (Moran) Lacroix. She was a stitcher for Woonsocket Coat and Suit for twenty years before retiring in 1983.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son Philip A. Desautels of Blackstone MA and a daughter Sandra Charpentier of North Kingstown, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by five sisters; Ruth Leduc of Blackstone, Celia Poirier of Woonsocket, Theresa Bertrand of Pascoag, Pearl Doyle of Falls Church, VA, and Florence Hugenin of Ocala FL. She was also a sister of the late Rose Patelcyk.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. John’s Church Slatersville. Burial will be held at a later date and will be private. Visiting hours are Sunday 6-8 pm.
