Leroy Sutherland, 85, of Fitzgerald died Saturday, June 3, 2006, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM Monday at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Reedy Branch Cemetery in Coffee County. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 to 9 at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Sutherland was born on May 8, 1921 to the late E.H. and Biddie Mae Barnett Sutherland. He lived in the community most of his life. He was a World War II veteran and received a Purple Heart Medal while serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Masons, American Legion, and a Shriner.
