Carole M Keleher
Carole Margo Keleher, age 85, of Weymouth, Massachusetts, left us to join the Lord on December 24, 2022. Carole was born in 1937 to Mabel and Emile Leblanc in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and was raised in Massachusetts graduating from Weymouth North High School.
Carole was predeceased by her parents, Mabel Silton (McDonald) and Emile LeBlanc, brothers Donald and Dennis LeBlanc, and her son John E. Keleher Jr. She is survived by her two children, Lauren E. (Keleher) Leydon of Lakeville and Paul F. Keleher of Scituate (Chantal Keleher) and two grandchildren, Erin Leydon and William Keleher.
Carole worked in sales and service at New England Telephone for many years before having her children. She was later employed in retail and customer service positions with Lord & Taylor and Chadwick’s of Boston. She most enjoyed her work teaching children to read in the Brockton Public Schools. Carole loved the Lord, loved to shop, and loved her kids…possibly in that order. She spent her life praising God and spreading his word. She attended many Christian churches in her lifetime going where she felt welcome. She was very creative and was often found sewing, jewelry making, painting, or
decorating. Carole loved animals and almost always had a dog or cat in her home.
No memorial service is planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when the internment is scheduled. Any donations in her honor should be made to a local animal shelter.
