Mr. Peter G. Shaheen, a resident of Chelsea, formerly of Boston, passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose on Monday afternoon, February 6, 2023. He was 73 year old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 6, 1949, he was the beloved son of the late George P. and Madeline R. (Deering) Shaheen. Peter was a very humorous person and loved to socialize, especially in his community in Chelsea. He always looked forward to celebrating his birthday and holidays with his large family. He will be dearly missed.
Peter is survived by his loving siblings; George P. Shaheen of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Suzanne and her husband Michael Abdalla of Beacon Falls, Connecticut, Nora Byrd of Atlanta, Georgia, John G. Shaheen and his wife Kathy of Nashua, New Hampshire,Donna and her husband Richard Clark of Medford and James G. Shaheen and his wife Lee Shaheen of Maryland and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Annette Bova, Elaine Poulack and Michael Riddle and brother-in-law of the late Darlene Shaheen and Phillip Byrd.
