Anita J. (Allard) Miller, a resident of Haverhill, passed away at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She was 79 years old.
Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, on March 3, 1943, she was the beloved daughter of the late Albert Joseph and Mary Grace (Fava) Allard. Anita was a graduate of Lynn English High School followed by Lynn Burdett Business School. She was retired from a long career at Andover Savings Bank in Andover Mass.
A devout catholic, Anita was a member of All Saints Parish and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society in Haverhill, she was also a proud member of the Italian Ladies Lodge of Lawrence. Anita enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, great friends, and had an immense appreciation for flowers. She enjoyed sharing her great faith and teaching her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Above all else, she was a very devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her world. She will be dearly missed by all.
Anita is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law; Diana L. and her husband John R. Dungan of Windham, New Hampshire. Survived by her siblings; John Allard of Marblehead, MA, Jean Rizzo of Seabrook, NH, Arlene Wellspring of Leeds, MA and Elaine and her husband James McEwen of Plaistow, NH. Grandchildren; Kevin and his wife Alyssa Paquette, Ashley Paquette and her fiancé Joe DeMarco, Michael Paquette and girlfriend Brittany DeFrancesco, Tyler Paquette, and Kelsey Dungan and boyfriend Sean Doughty. Great-grandchildren include; Mia DeMarco, John Ryan Paquette, Olivia Bieniecki, Violet DeMarco, JJ DeMarco, Charlotte DeMarco, Noah Paquette, Leia Paquette, Maya Paquette, Elijah Paquette, Madalynne Paquette, Nora Leighton as well as many nieces and nephews. Anita was also the sister-in-law of the late Betty Allard and Robert (Bobby) Wellspring.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 10:30 AM. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be held in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
