Donald “Don” Edward Pelletier, age 63, passed away on January 28, 2023 at home. He was born on May 14, 1959 in Springfield, a son of the late Francis Pelletier and Gloria (Duclos) Pelletier. Don worked as a carpenter and foreman at D. O’Connell and Sons Inc., for many years before he retired in 2014. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Elder Council #69 in Chicopee; the Polish Club in Deerfield and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed playing Keno. He is survived by three brothers, Michael Pelletier and his wife Debbie (Paier) of Chicopee, Bruce Pelletier and his wife Judy Fontaine of Granby and Steven Pelletier of Chicopee; He also leaves his special friend of over 20 years, Lori Norris of Windsor Locks, CT along with three nieces and one nephew. He is predeceased by his brother Daryl Pelletier and his sister Michelle Sampson. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday February 11, 2023 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA followed by committal prayers in St Rose de Lima Cemetery.
