Michael Lane Huffman, 15, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died January 28, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Ronald Reese officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening, 6 PM until 8 PM, February 6, 2023, at the Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Michael was born December 28, 2007, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Samuel Ray Huffman, Jr. & Heather Melissa Brewer Huffman, both of Fitzgerald. He was an 8th grader at Ben Hill Middle School. Michael was an outgoing child and was a member of several clubs. He loved art, band, football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs and playing his games. He enjoyed playing with his cousins and always enjoyed his fishing trips. Michael attended Callie Garbutt Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Heather Brewer Huffman of Fitzgerald; his father, Samuel Ray Huffman, Jr. of Fitzgerald; two brothers: Samuel Huffman, III and Seth Huffman; grandparents: Gerald & Delaine Brewer and Margaret Huffman; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive and his best friend, Mason Logue.
