Obituary

Edward Eugene "Ed" Williams, 79, of Anderson died at his residence on January 29, 2023 after an extended illness.

He was born January 15, 1944 in Anderson, the son of Kenneth and Maxine (Hannaford) Williams.

He served in the United States Army in the 18th M.P. B.D.E. from 1966-1973 during Vietnam.

He was a truck driver for Central Transport. He also worked at Ed's Video and Brandon Enterprises. He was a lifetime member of Am Vets of Madison County and of Chesterfield American Legion Post 408.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Mason) Williams of Anderson, whom he married November 29, 1980 in Brown County; three daughters, Tracy Fowler of Daleville, Melissa (Steve) Mills of Anderson and Cindy Fuel of Alexandria; five grandchildren, Lance R. Buck, Carley Jo Flatt, Whitney Barnard,
Cassie (Mills) Smith (Barry), Amber R. (Baldwin) Carnahan (Jon); six great grandchildren, Bronsin Z. Buck, Mason A. Buck, Savannah Flecker, Malaki Flecker, Audrina Smith, Cameron Smith and; several nieces, nephews and cousins; his best buddy, Steve Randolf special thank you!

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Williams and sister, Deeana Williams.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery with military rites by the Daleville American Legion.

Visitation will be held from noon until the service at 2 pm. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Humane Society, Am Vets or the American Legion.
