Worcester: Harriet F. (Tufts) Capers, 81, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 30, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves A daughter Pamela Jarosz of Florida; a son Paul Capers of Worcester; grandchildren Brittny, Branden, and Brooke of Worcester and Jonathan, Joshiah and Johanna of MA, FL and TN; a great granddaughter Audrianna of Leicester; sisters Beverly Noel and Nancy Tufts both of NY; brothers Richard Tufts of PA and Douglas Tufts of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews.
Harriet was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Wallace and Illone (Bailey) Tufts. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked as a bookkeeper and property manager for many years. She had many joys and talents and loved her family with her whole heart.
According to Harriet's wishes, all services will be private. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Upton. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. To leave an online condolence message, please click guestbook link.
