Obituary

Frank A. Randall died May 30th at the Newfield House in Plymouth.

Born in Kingston in 1905, Mr. Randall was a life long resident of Kingston. He graduation from Kingston High School and Bentley College in Boston.

He was the youngest town treasurer in the Commonwealth and served from 1926 to 1932. After 20 years with the Plymouth National Bank, Mr. Randall became the Plymouth County Treausurer in 1952, retiring in 1972.

He also served as treasurer of the Evergreen Cemetery and of the First Parish Unitarian Church of Kingston. He was active in the Republican Club, a member of the Plymouth Lodge AF & AM for over 50 years and also a member of the Old Colony Club in Plymouth.

In 2005, on his one hundredth birthday, he received a plaque from the Kingston Selectmen, thanking him for his service to the community. He also received the first Kingston Centennial cane, given to the oldest and longest resident of Kingston.
Mr. Randall loved to work out in his garden and yard, enjoyed travelling with his late wife, Marion and talking politics and the state of the country with his grandson, Peter. He was a gentle, kind man and lived a life of high values.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and John Faust of Peterborough, NH and three grandchildren and their spouses, Laurie Hinman and husband David of Albuquerque, NM, Lynne Wetherill and husband, Simon of Grantham, NH and Peter Faust and wife Carrie of Lake-in-the-Hill, IL and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Marion (Baker) Randall.

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
