In Taunton, January 26, 2023 Dolores M. (Delano) Cote wife of Paul W. Cote died peacefully at Morton Hospital with her family by her side at the age of 87. Born in Taunton, Dolores was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Isabel (Tatro) Delano. She was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1953 then went on to Trousdale Nursing School where she received her nursing degree in 1956. Dolores loved her family and friends unconditionally and always brought a smile to everyone she encountered. She was a parish member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church for most of her life in Taunton. Dolores was the mother of Paula Petrarca and her husband David of Cranston, RI, Michael Cote and his wife Anna of Marshfield, Linda Lyle and her husband Stephen of Avon, CT, Philip Cote and his wife Veronica of Marstons Mills and Steven Cote and his wife Kathy of Harwich. Grandmother of eleven grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Sister of the late Fr. Kenneth Delano and Donald Delano. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Monday January 30th from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
