Pamela Ann Martin, 61, of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, January 20, 2023. She was the partner of Theresa Ridings.
Born in Oak Bluffs, MA, daughter of the late John and Jean (Costa) Gomes, she lived on Martha's Vineyard and New Bedford most of her life.
Pam loved the ocean and going to the beach. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, and grandchildren. She liked playing bingo. Pam enjoyed training her Brazillian Jiu Jitsu skills, and volunteering for the Salvation Army.
Survivors include her sons, Jason J. Martin of New Bedford, Wayne Barry Martin of San Jose, CA; her partner Theresa Ridings; her siblings, Isabel Thomas, Timothy J. Gomes, Tammy A. Gomes, and Rebecca A. Gomes; her grandchildren Jaylynn, Maverick, and Jaxon; and many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.
She is predeceased by her siblings Robin A. Voisine and Shawn J. Gomes.
Pam's visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 4-7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. A private burial will take place at a later date.
