Ms. Concepcion Lopez Cruz, age 88, of Hyde Park, formerly of Villalba, Puerto Rico, peacefully went home to be with the Lord, Sunday evening, January 22, 2023, in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Dona Conce was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family and Church. She was a wonderful, devoted mother to her 11 children - Lordes, Miguel, Carmen, Lydia, Sonia, Iris, Lucy, Ana, Luis Antonio, Mary and Gaby. Loving grandmother to 48 grandchildren, 96 great grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She loved spending her days singing worship songs, coloring, sewing, and playing Bingo. She also shared her love by making her grandchildren's favorite treat "Limber" - a Puerto Rican style ice cream. She loved to love on people and make everyone laugh. We will miss her every day, especially her cane in hand teasing us with it. Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Thursday January 26 from 5-8 PM. Her family will gather again at the funeral home on Friday January 27 from 10 am until 11 am before traveling to New Calvary Cemetery for interment services.
