Melanie Chapman, 51, passed away on January 18th, 2023 at Accent Care in Milton, after a long and brave battle with cancer. Cherished daughter of Dennis and Cathy Reardon, loving mother of Leila and Amir Chapman. She is survived by husband Omar Chapman, sister Jessica Camara and brothers Terrence and Rico Reardon, and their wives Jhosy and Dalgys, along with her nephew, nieces, aunts, cousins, in-laws, and close friends.
Melanie was born in Boston, MA on November 28th, 1971. She attended Brookline High School, Class of ‘89, and is a graduate of New York University. She was a longtime resident of Randolph, MA, where she lived for 16 years.
Melanie had a career as a Probation Officer in Family Court after being a Social Worker for DSS. Her favorite hobbies included playing sports in high school and college, watching her kids play sports and excel in school, spending time at the beach, cooking, and most of all, being a Mother.
At Melanie’s request, no funeral services will be held. She will have a Celebration of Life Party held on a date unknown at this time. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made for her children’s education HERE.
