Sharon M. O'Malley, 63, of Dartmouth died January 19, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of Dolores (Vargas) O'Malley of Dartmouth and the late James O'Malley, she was raised in Dartmouth and lived in Fairhope, AL before returning to Dartmouth in 2006.
She was formerly employed by the Association for Relief of Aged Women.
Survivors include her son, Mathew Medeiros and his wife Jennifer of Foley, AL; a daughter, Lauren Medeiros and her partner, Amanda Phillips of Silverhill, AL; 2 brothers, James O'Malley and his wife Mary of Whitehouse Station, NJ and Brendan O'Malley and his wife Christina Schwarz of Briarcliff Manor, NY; 2 sisters, Catherine Sawyer and her husband Scott Amorin of Dartmouth and Monica O'Malley-Tavares and her husband Kevin Tavares of Mattapoisett; 2 grandchildren, Carter and Wesley Medeiros; her dear friend, ReJeana McKenzie Turner; and many nieces and nephews.
Her Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, January 23rd from 4-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
