Jeannette T. (Dumont) Dubois, 94, of New Bedford died January 17, 2023 at Regal Care of Taunton.
She was the widow of the late Raymond A. Tetreault. She then remarried and became the widow of the late Roderick Dubois.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Ernest and Germaine (Pelisier) Dumont, she lived in New Bedford her adult life.
She was a proud Catholic who attended church every Sunday.
She enjoyed gardening, painting, and traveling to Disney World with her family.
Survivors include her 3 daughters, Louise Turner of New Bedford, MA, Elaine Messier and her husband Tom of Murrell's Inlet, SC and Janice Parker and her husband Glen of Berkley, MA, as well as a sister, Laurance Sorel; there are 7 grandchildren, David Tetreault, Marc Nunnally, Denise Fowlie, Jill Nunnally, Adam Messier, Katie Hawxwell, and Ashley Souto. She also leaves 11 great-grandchildren, Scott Turner, Jenelle Grace, Collin Cooper, Bradley Atkinson, Sierra Marques, David Tetreault, Joshua and Wyatt Hawxwell, Gabriel, Gracie, and Gwenevere Souto.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 10 AM in St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish. A visitation period will be held Monday morning from 8:30-9:30 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
