Linda K. (Reeder) Odom, 84, passed away on January 17, 2023 at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on May 15, 1938 to Harry and Leah (Lane) Reeder. She graduated from Anderson High School in the class of 1956 and then attended Anderson College. She worked as an administrative assistant at Reeder Heating, Manatron, and ran an in-home daycare for many years where she was known as Miss Linda.
She was a member of Bethany Christian Church. She loved going to Disney World, spending time watching her grandkids' activities, vacationing and dancing with her husband.
She is survived by her six children, D. Kent (Susan) Odom, D. Rene (Mark) Hart, Karen (Douglas) McMahan, David K. (Katrina) Odom, Deanna K. (Cary) House and Darren (Tracy) Odom; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald L. Odom in 2018; a sister, Carol Phillips and two brothers, Alan and Cary Reeder; a granddaughter, Daisy House and a great-granddaughter, Hayleigh Lebo.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. at Bethany Christian Church on Saturday, January 21, 2023 with Bob Bell officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to The Christian Center or Bethany Christian Church Bereavement Fund.
