Kenneth G. “Ken” Robinson, age 76, of Brockton, died January 16, 2023 peacefully at his home under the care of his loving family. Ken was the devoted husband of Sharon (Kennedy) Robinson for 54 years. Born in Brockton, a son of the late Neal and Ida (Ostiguy) Robinson, he was a lifelong resident of the city and a 1966 graduate of Brockton High School.
Ken was a steel fabricator by trade and worked at General Dynamics from 1966-1986 and, after its closing, at Turner Steel in West Bridgewater for 21 years. Ken loved bowling, golfing, fishing and coaching his son’s little league teams. He will be remembered as a dedicated husband who loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Ken was the cherished father of Carol Burke and her husband Thomas of Brockton and Brian Robinson and his wife Amy of Taunton. He is survived by his grandchildren James Robinson of Brockton and Kyle Robinson of Taunton, in addition to his siblings Carol Sergi of East Taunton, Fay McCabe of Bridgewater and the late Neal Robinson, Jr., Russell Robinson and Margaret Lynch. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St., (rte.123) Brockton on Saturday January 21, 2023 from 9-11am followed by a service at 11am. Burial to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
