Mary Ann Hartsfield Smith, 66, of Norman Park passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. January 18, 2023, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating. Mrs. Smith will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Born June 16, 1956, in Albany, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late William Arthur Hartsfield, Jr. and Mary Frances Folsom Hartsfield. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby Lee Hartsfield, John “Wade” Hartsfield and Arthur “Wayne” Hartsfield. She graduated from high school in Brooks County. Before retiring, she worked for the last ten years at Kentucky Fried Chicken and was formerly employed with Barbee Petroleum. She was a loving wife and mother, and she was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Quitman.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Rudy Smith of Norman Park; one daughter, Mary Sue Hartsfield of Norman Park; one sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Mike Floyd of Hartford, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.
