Dorothy Arvita Woodrow, 90 of Roanoke, Virginia, died Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem Virginia.
Graveside services will be held 3 PM Monday, January 16, 2023 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia with Lawton Lovett officiating. Music will be provided by Kelli Tucker and David Handley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Ms. Woodrow was born February 19, 1932, in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late Floyd and Mary Jones Niday.
She is survived by four children: Jean Quintrell of Virginia, Jack & Rhonda Woodrow Jr of Brunswick Georgia, Carolyn Elliott of Fitzgerald Georgia, and Gregory & Remi Woodrow of Colorado; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Lynda Snider and Nancy Dunbar both of Virginia; several nieces and nephews also survive. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Woodrow Sr., a son Gary Woodrow and a daughter Vickie Woodrow.
