Joseph “Joe” J. Sansone 73, died Tuesday May 30th at his home after a brief illness. He was the husband of Frances (Pagano) Sansone of Whitman.
Born and brought up in Dorchester, son of the late, John and Josephine (DiPalma) Sancone. He attended Boston Trade School.
Joe lived in Whitman for 42 years and worked as a Carpenter and Plumber for 35 Years at the St. Margaret’s Hospital in Boston.
He was a member of the Whitman Knights of Columbus.
A Veteran of the United States Army in the Korean War.
He is survied by his wife Frances (Pagano) Sansone of Whitman;2- daughters, Dolores Sansone of Whitman, Joanne Delmonico and her husband David of Plymouth;brother of Salvatore Sansone of Quincy, Nicholas Sansone of ME. Pasquale Sansone of Holbrook and the late Anthony Sansone,Mary Sage,Lucy,DiStefano and Anna VanderMeel;grandfather of Anthony Delmonico and Angela Delmonico; also many nieces and nephews and godchildren.He was also the father of the late Anne F. Sansone
His Funeral will be held Friday June 2 at 9:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a 10:00 A.M Mass in the Holy Ghost Church, MA…Visiting hours Thursday June 1st 4-8.
