Alejandrina Melendez (83) of Brockton died January 10th in the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Erasmo Melendez.
She was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico daughter of the late Ramiro Espada and Luisa Colon. Alejandrina was a retired assembly worker for the Alden Products Company and was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church. She enjoyed cooking, watching television, crossword puzzles, praying and socializing with family and friends.
Alejandrina is survived by 4 daughters, Joseline Melendez, Yolanda Cruz and Carmen A. Melendez all of Brockton and Jackeline DePina of Las Vegas, 2 sons, Jose Angel Melendez of Brockton and Erasmo Melendez Jr. and wife Michele of Middleboro, 2 sisters, Carmen and Luz, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Tuesday January 17th from 5-8 pm. Services in the Funeral Home Wednesday January 18th at 10 am. Burial to follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 pm.
