Joseph Richard Veal Jr “Joey” 61 of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, January 9, 2023, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Terry Cole officiating.
Mr. Veal was born April 5, 1961, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Joseph Richard Veal Sr. "Papa Joe" and the Late Brenda Lee Livingston. Mr. Veal was formally a cook with Carters Fried Chicken and enjoyed detailing cars as well as Rock N Roll Music. Mr. Veal also loved old cars and hot rods.
He is survived by his siblings: Janet Brown, William Frank Veal, Charles Lee Veal & Mary, and Sean Robert Veal all of Fitzgerald; Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
