Obituary

David Allen Driggers, 84, of Anderson went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2023 at his residence after he died unexpectedly.

David was born April 17, 1938 in Orestes, the son of Victor and Thelma (Smear) Driggers.

He served in the United States Army from January 17, 1956 to January 16, 1958.

He worked production at Delco Remy 39 years before retiring. He was also a school bus driver for Anderson Community Schools. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was an active member of True Apostolic Church in Pendleton.

He is survived by his son, Dave (Patricia) Driggers, Jr. of Pendleton and his daughter, Teresa Driggers of Lawrence; sister, Margie Warrum; three grandchildren, Jared (Jeanna) Driggers, Jessica Driggers and Michael Sims; great grandson, Nolan Driggers; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alberta L. (Summers) Driggers whom he married February 22, 1959; sisters, Emma, Mary and Laura; step-mother, Ivy (Mock) Driggers.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Phil Hodges of True Apostolic Church officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will be at a later date at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
