Manuel Vieira Botelho. Age 82. Husband of the late Irene(Gouveia)Botelho. Residence 2446 Highland Ave., formerly of 400 Columbia St.,Fall River and Gibbs St., Somerset, MA. Died Monday at the Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Fernais Da Luz, Sao Miguel, Azores.
Son of the late Joao Vieira Lima and the late Vicencia Botelho. He came to Fall River in 1967, moved to Somerset in 1986 and then back to Fall River from 2001 until present. Before retiring, he was a Machine Operator at Duro Finishing Co. He was a member of St. Michael Church.
He is survived by One Son: Fernando M. Botelho of Center Valley, PA. Two Daughters: Esmeralda Reis of Fall River, MA and Leonor Lima of Somerset, MA. Father-in-law of Michelle Botelho, John Reis, and John Lima. One Brother: Joao Vieira Botelho of Canada. Three Sisters: Maria C. Lima of Fall River, MA, Maria C. Medeiros of Fall River, MA and Maria A. Simoes of Canada. Five Grandchildren and Several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. Thursday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church, Essex St., Fall River, MA. at 10:00 A.M. Entombment in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Fall River, MA. Calling hours Wednesday 5-9 P.M.
