Joyce A. (Remington) McKenna,52, of Reservoir Road, Pascaog, a Special Education Teacher with the Eleanor Slater Hospital died Monday at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the wife of Gerard E. McKenna, II.Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Clinton O. Jr. and Elizabeth T. (Racine) Remington. She had been a resident of Pascoag her whole life. She was past President of the Burrillville Historical Society, a member of the RI Genealogical Society and President of Local 1171,.I.F.T.H.P.- A.F.T. Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Janice Fawcett of Shelbourne, VT, a brother, Clinton O. Remington, III of Harrisville and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Judith Parsons.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 am from the *ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Eugene’s Church, 1247 Putnam Pike, Chepachet. Burial in Acote’s Hill Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8pm.
