It is with a heavy heart that the family of Dorothy T. Hudson passed away on January 2nd,2023 at the age of 93 years old. She was born on January 19th,1929 one of five children. Born to Emile and Yvonne Limoges of Winooski, Vermont. Dorothy passed away at Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen with her children, grandchild, and great grandchild by her side. Dorothy lived in Winooski, Vermont and later moved to Lawrence, Massachusetts with her husband and baby daughter Carol. She had three more children Ronald Girard, Sandra Girard Lamirande and Leonard Girard. She went to work at the wood mills to support her family. Dorothy then met her husband Amedee Ramsay and was blessed with twins Nelson and Lynne Ramsay. Amedee later passed away in December of 1977. When her children were old enough, she returned to work at Western Electric Lucent Technologies for 25 years. While working at Lucent Technologies she met her husband Earl Hudson and they married in 1990, Earl later then passed in 1993. Dorothy resided in Methuen Massachusetts for many years with her son Nelson Ramsay. When her son Nelson Ramsay passed away, she went to live with her daughter Lynne and husband Reggie Dove, and great granddaughter Bryanna and fiancé Wesley. Dorothy was a mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Dorothy loved to travel to many different states, she went on several cruises with her family, and visited relatives in Vermont, New York, Canada, Alabama, and Arizona. Dorothy was preceded by her Sister Larraine Blow and husband Raymond Blow, Brother Emile and wife Muriel Limoges, and Brother Raymond Limoges, Son Nelson Ramsay, son in law Lyn Alakel and son in law Roland Lamirande. She is survived but her sister Claire Macey and Husband Allen Macey. Children Carol Alakel, Ronald Girard, Sandra Lamirande, Leonard Girard and wife Margie Girard, Lynne Ramsay and husband Reggie Dove. Also, by her grandchildren David Alakel, and wife Yvette Alakel, Steven Alakel and wife Sue Alakel, Michelle Almestica and husband Fransisco Almestica, Kelly Perez and husband Al Perez, Wendy Girard, Jennifer Girard, Dawn Chretien and fiancé Luke Boisvert, Monique Chretien and husband Brian Schadhauser. Great grandchildren Shawn Alakel, Joshua Alakel, Taylor Alakel, Jessica Boutin, Jocelyn and Cisco Jr Almestica, Christian Lamirande, Eian Delgado, Bryanna Gauthier and fiancé Wesley Santos. Dorothy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dorothy was the most beautiful, selfless, and loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Dorothy will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd. Dracut.
