Kathleen C. Plouffe
LOWELL Kathleen C. (Sullivan) Plouffe, 58 of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the wife of James Plouffe with whom she shared the last 36 years of marriage.
She was born in Fitchburg on September 7, 1964 and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Claire Sullivan. She was raised and educated in the Fitchburg area, earning her CNA through the Red Cross.
At the age of 19, she relocated to Lowell and was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. She was a devoted CNA for many years dedicating her time to working with the elderly. She enjoyed arts and crafts. Above all else, spending time with her family brought her the most happiness.
In addition to her husband, James Plouffe of Lowell, she is survived by her three children, Sarah O’Connor of Florida, Stephen Plouffe of Lowell, and Jamie Lee Plouffe of Lowell; her six grandchildren, Jayden Hernandez, Isaiah Hernandez, Jeremiah O’Connor, Hazel Williams, Aiden Plouffe, Noah Camara, and Damien Plouffe. She is also survived by her siblings, David Sullivan, Darlene Chesbrough, and Candice Sullivan; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, the late Kevin Sullivan.
