Hailey K. Housewright, 16, of Dartmouth, MA, suddenly and tragically passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 due to complications from juvenile diabetes.
Hailey attended Dartmouth High School, she was an aspiring illustrator, and wanted to become a professional tattoo artist. She was a very talented artist; her favorite mediums included drawing, painting, and crafting. She also loved music and enjoyed going to concerts. She was constantly praised by her teachers and peers for her creativity and ability to connect with people around her. She loved sharing her gifts and making people proud. She had the biggest heart and loved her friends and family very much.
Hailey is survived by her parents Melissa Gomes and Larry Housewright Jr.; her grandmother Lori DaCosta and grandfather Alain Gomes; Great Grandparents Noelle and Jose Gomes, John and his wife Debbie Rogers; Her Siblings Isabella, Nova, Addison, and Larry Housewright, and half-sister Alexandria Corriero-Housewright; Her Godmothers/Aunts Kelsey Gomes and Sherri Housewright; Great Aunt Kerri and Uncle Francis Gomes; Stepparents Angelina Verissimo and Andrew Davis; as well as countless Cousins, Relatives and Friends. Including her Boyfriend Nicolas Clark, who was very important to her.
Hailey will be joining in Heaven her Grandmother Elaine Gomes, her Grandfather Larry Housewright, older Sister Aaliyah Gomes, and her cat Murphy of 12 years.
Our loss is immeasurable, she will be forever missed and carried in the hearts of all who love her.
Hailey's visitation will be on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 9-10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. A service will be held in the funeral home at 10 AM, and burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
