John C. "Cat" Harrington III, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life suddenly on January 1, 2023. He was 67 years of age.
Cat was born in Boston on October 30, 1955, a son of the late John C. Harrington Jr. and Joan M. (Kelley) Harrington. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1974. Cat worked as an electrician's assistant for several years. His main priority in life was taking care of his beloved children and grandchildren. He was very involved in Charlestown Pop Warner and Charlestown Little League.
Cat is the beloved husband of 41 years to Sharon J. (Cahill) Harrington. He is the loving father of Kelliegh Moses and her husband Scott, Krystina Chan and her husband Ricky, John C. Harrington IV and his partner Tatiana DaSilva, and Cameron W. Harrington and his partner Kelly Harrington. He is the devoted Papa of Noah, Alyssa, Kaelyn, Analyse, Aedan, Thomas, and Evie. He is the brother-in-law of Billy Cahill, Eddie Cahill, Robbie Cahill, the late Laurie Cahill, and he is the uncle of Sidney, Billy, and Beverly. He is also survived by his beloved dog Bella.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Cat's funeral on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown. His Burial will be private. His visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
