Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth A. (Wagner) Fraser, a longtime resident of Medford and beloved wife of the late Andrew W. Fraser, passed away at the Winchester Hospital on December 30, 2022. She was 92 years old.

Born in Malden, Massachusetts, on April 30, 1930, she was the beloved daughter of the late George J. and Elizabeth J. (Rutherford) Wagner.

She is survived by her devoted children; Sally Quigley and her husband Ken of Stoneham, Karen Fraser and her partner Joe Gemellaro of Andover, and James Fraser and his wife Debra of Wilmington, sister; Pat Walsh of North Reading, brother-in-law; William Fraser and his wife Dorothy of Weirsdale, Florida, grandsons; Kevin and David Quigley of Stoneham and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Sis Parker, Emma Dion, George and Alfred Wagner.

Her family treasured Betty, and her family meant the world to her.

A testament to her life as a sincere, caring, and kind woman, Betty was known to an extensive fold of family and friends as “Mimi.” Her personal joy emanated from the care she lavished on all lucky enough to have her friendship tucked in their heart. There are many.

Betty’s keen sense of fashion and style brought her to a well-suited and fun career at Hit or Miss. There she also built many wonderful lasting relationships with her advice and her ever-present welcoming smile.

Her life will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, on Thursday evening at 8 PM. Relatives and friends are welcome. Prior to the 8 PM service, there will also be visiting hours from 5 to 8 PM. The interment will be private.
