SPARGO, Kathryn “Kathy” Lewis of Fox Hill Village, Westwood, formerly of Newport and Providence, RI, December 10, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Edward “Ted” Spargo for 54 years. Devoted mother of Nancy Spargo-Barber and her husband Benjamin of Needham, and Edward J. Spargo Jr. and his wife Tina of Sudbury. Loving and beloved grandmother of Maxwell and Lorelei Spargo. Also survived by many relatives in the Spargo, Zambarano, Barone, Inderlin, and Macdonald families. Retired co-founder of Jamestown Publishers, a developmental reading publisher. Kathy also co-founded the Providence Opera Society and was an active member of the Sandpipers of Newport, the New York Yacht Club, and the Providence Art Club. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 1382 Highland Ave., Needham, Monday, January 9th at 11 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private.
