Obituary

Randall ‘Randy’ Lynn Elliott, 72, of Tewksbury, MA, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband to Diane M. (Conley) Elliott, with whom he would have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary this coming June.

A son of the late beloved Lila Elliott. He was born July 9, 1950, in Leonardtown, Maryland; at the age of (7), he was adopted by his Uncle Gerald Simpson and Aunt Mary of Reading, MA. He was educated at Oklahoma State University and went on to attain his bachelor's degree in architecture from Boston Architectural Center.

Randy was an avid sports enthusiast. He had a passion for playing and especially loved coaching his children and their friends as they grew up. He later refereed basketball for high school and college. He also enjoyed reading, movies, politics, and traveling with his family.

He worked as an architect for Jackson Lumber where he did office design before starting his own company, R. E. Design.

Randy will be remembered as a devoted and selfless family man to his loving family and to all who had the pleasure of sharing time with him.

In addition to his loving wife, Diane, he was a loving and caring father to his children, Rebecca Diaz and her husband, Geoff of Tewksbury, and Joshua Elliott and his wife, Elina of Groton. He was a doting Papa to his grandchildren, Jake, Nathaniel, Sebastian, Gia, Delila, Brandon, Maddox; the best brother to his siblings, Judith Brosky of Westport, and Daryl Elliott of Las Vegas. He is also survived by several beautiful nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
 
Randy was predeceased by his son, the late Justin Elliott; and his brother, the late Kenneth Elliott.

On Friday, December 30, 2022, all are welcome to attend Randy’s calling hours from 4 -7 p.m. at the TEWKSBURY FUNERAL HOME, 1 DEWEY STREET, TEWKSBURY 978-851-2061.

His funeral will begin on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with his service at 11 a.m., followed by procession for burial at St. Mary Cemetery.
