Obituary

BIDDEFORD- Carrie Ann Marie Tassinari
Born on April 11, 1975, to Edward and Carol (Travers) Cloutier. She was a graduate of Biddeford High School in 1993. Carrie leaves behind her father Edward Cloutier of Arundel, her daughter Maddison Tassinari of Kennebunk, two brothers Jason Cloutier and his wife Jessie of Alfred, Trevor Cloutier and his wife Amy of Arundel, two nieces Kayla and Shiloh along with one nephew Gavin. As well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her mother Carol (Travers) Cloutier, her best friend. Carrie missed Carol every day and thought fondly of their memories together; we know that she was greeted by her mother in heaven and are together again. Her daughter Maddison was her princess, who she loved dearly. Carrie was proud to be Maddison’s Mom and to cheer her on. Along with this, she loved her three fur babies so very much, Ares, Ella, and Padme who comforted her until the very end. Carrie had a heart of gold and ultimately just wanted to help others. While she suffered from bipolar disorder for most of her life, her story serves as an example to the extensive need for more understanding of this mental illness and the support those with the diagnosis need most. In order to best honor Carrie, her family asks you to consider the circumstances for which struggles arise and to try to not judge others. Instead, extend an understanding hand and heart to those around you. Reach out to your loved ones, listen to their stories, and tell them you love them.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.
