Bernard Tanner Paulk, 61, of Douglas, Georgia, died Friday, December 23, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Georgia.
Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Paulk was born February 27, 1961, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Ellis Tyler & Lila Tanner Paulk. He was a 1979 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and attended Valdosta State University. He worked as an EMT for many years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved attending sporting events. He also enjoyed genealogy and doing research on his ancestors. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Fitzgerald.
He is survived by his two daughters: Crystal Gail Paulk of Vidalia and Nicole Tanner Paulk of Glenwood; and two brothers: Jack & Maurisa Paulk of Fitzgerald and Allan & Judi Paulk of Orlando, Florida. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gale Paulk Whitley as well as his grandparents: James F. & Lorena Tyler Paulk and Bernard B. & Thelma Kennedy Tanner.
