Margaret L. “Peggy” (Leasure) Huey, 86, from Freedom PA, and formerly of Cherry Tree, PA, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 25, 2022.
The daughter of Lloyd and Rosella Leasure of Penn Run, PA, she was born on July 3, 1936 in Indiana, PA.
Peg enjoyed baking, cooking, camping, and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Peg was preceded in death by her husband Ken on April 6, 2021, her sister Lillian Martin, and brothers William, Richard, and Charles Leasure.
Peg is survived by her two daughters: Kandi (Don) Fleming of Hartford, Ohio and Pam (Bob) Homerski of Freedom, PA, her son Ken Huey, Jr. (Barb) of Cherry Tree, PA, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers and several nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 12:00 - 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA. Immediately following the visitation a 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Peg’s granddaughter, Kelly Selick, as the officiant.
