George Santos, 93, died December 21, 2022 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on November 21, 1929 the son of Jose and Clutilde (Periera) Santos.
He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army.
Prior to his retirement he was a Coca Cola delivery man.
He held membership at Intervale Country Club, Knights of Columbus, Alpine Club and the Workman’s Club.
His family includes one brother, James Santos of Merrimack, one sister, Dolly Stewart and her husband Robert of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by four siblings; Joseph Santos, Mary Schmidt, Tony Santos and Americo Santos.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 9:30 to 11:00 am at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A prayer service will follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home.
Committal prayers and military honors will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Easter Seals Society or to Leukemia Research.
