Obituary








FRANKLIN—Kevin B. Dynan 77, of 130 Chestnut St., died Thursday May 25, 2006 at the Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood following a long illness.
Born in Cambridge, Ma., August 22, 1928 a son of the late Denis and Veronica (O’Donnell) Dynan he was a longtime resident of Cambridge and Ft. Meyers, Florida until moving to Franklin a year ago.
Educated in Cambridge schools he worked for more than 37 years for the Local 103 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers of Boston.
He was a lifelong member of the Savin Hill Yacht Club in Dorchester, Ma and was part of the “Top Of The Hill Gang” who were responsible for most of the improvements which have taken place at the club over the years, beginning with the refurbishment of the upstairs hall as well as the float and walkway projects. He enjoyed spending much of his time there with his friends as well as fishing.
He is survived by his sister Carmelita C. Healey of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Joseph Dynan and Margaret Jenkins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Thursday June 1, 2006 at 11AM at the Savin Hill Yacht Club 400 Morrissey Boulevard Dorchester, (617-825-1108).
Burial will be private.
There are no public calling hours.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory sent to a charity of one’s choice.
