Obituary

KENNEALLY, Thomas A. "Tom" Age 87, a kind and decent man, passed away peacefully on Dec. 11, 2022. Beloved husband to his wife of 60 years, Janice (Cotillo) Kenneally. Loving father to his children and their spouses, T.J. and Crystal Kenneally of New York, NY; Linda and Kipp Dye of Natick, MA; Stephen Kenneally of Duxbury, MA; Jamie and Kerri Kenneally of Duxbury, MA, Andrew and Maggie Kenneally of Lynnfield, MA. Cherished grandpa to his twelve grandchildren, Caitlin, Courtney, Sean, Carolyn, Collin, Devin, Declan, Isadora, Keegan, Kenzie, Keira, and Alexis. Devoted brother to Sr. Alice Kenneally, SC, (Halifax), and the late William, John F., Margaret Smith, Joseph P., and Frank X. Kenneally. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tom was born in Boston and raised in Mission Hill. He graduated from Mission High School in Roxbury, MA and played on the famous “Mission Five” basketball team, which won the 1953 State Tech Tournament. Later, Tom received a full scholarship to play basketball at Stonehill College. After college, Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, then went to work in the private sector. It was at this time he met the love of his life, Janice, and the two would settle down in West Roxbury and raise a family. While raising children, Tom found time to get his MBA at Boston College. He spent the majority of his working life as an industrial engineer with Bostik in Middleton, MA. Tom was a true embodiment of his Catholic faith. He enjoyed tennis, swimming, and skiing; traveling with Janice; spending time with his children and grandkids; and watching his Boston Celtics and Red Sox. Funeral Service Private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
