Helen J. Nickerson (Ferman) of Lynn, formerly of Quincy passed away December 10th. Born in Boston, she was raised in East Boston and graduated from Somerville High School. She lived in Quincy for many years where she was an active Parishioner of St. John the Baptiste Church. She worked as an Administrator for New England Telephone for 32 years retiring in 1989.
Beloved wife of the late Robert D. Mother of James Lewis and his partner Buck Bachman of Lynn, and Michael Lewis and his wife Karen of VA. Step-mother of Michele Campbell of Somerville and Stephanie Nickerson of Somerville. Sister of the late Kathleen McDonald and Grace Ferman. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church 250 Revere St. Revere Friday morning at 11:00 am. A hour of visitation will be held in the church prior to the mass Friday morning. Burial Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Assn at www.alz.org.
