Obituary

Mr. Paul P. Grondine, 77, of Pelham, NH, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2022, in his home with his family by his side. Born in North Chelmsford on January 6, 1945, he had been an area resident all his life. Mr. Grondine served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his service he was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union Local 132 in Lowell and Local 537 in Boston, American Legion, Pelham, NH Post 100, and the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 10722. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Mr. Grondine was predeceased by his parents Philippe and Flossie (Garneau) Grondine, brother Edward Grondine, and sister Claire Groulx. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Nancy (Vaillancourt) Grondine of Pelham, NH, two step daughters: Susan and her husband James Hunt of Morriston, FL, Michelle Piper of St. Albans, ME, six sisters: Estelle Abely of Chelmsford, Theresa Dolecki of Santa Margarita, CA, Dorothy Quimby of Boise, ID, Rita and her husband Charles Masuga of Corona, CA, Mary Ann Tabor of Las Cruces, NM, and Connie Mullen of Port Charlotte, FL. There are three step grandchildren: Maxwell Lessard, Alex Lessard and David Piper, two step great-grandchildren Garrett and Duke Piper, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at the Racicot Funeral Home, burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chelmsford. online condolences may be shared at www.racicotfuneralhome.com.
