Arnold E. “Jack” Berry 90 passed away December 4,2022 at UMASS Hospital, Worcester, MA.
He leaves his wife Alice T. (Robillard) Berry. His first wife Jean (Duff) passed away in 2003. He leaves two sons
Mark Newton Berry and his wife Diana,of St. Petersburg, FLA. and John Kevin Berry and his wife Sharon of Dudley, MA.
He also leaves three grandchildren Michael Berry (Nicole), David Berry and Michelle and two great grandchildren Jack and Leo Berry and two brothers Drexel O. Berry (ImaJean) and David Conner (Lynette)
both of Statesboro, GA.
Jack was also predeceased by sisters Jean Gay and Mary Willie Williams
He was born January 2, 1932 in Statesboro, GA son of the late Willie and Lucy (Conner) Berry. He was a high school graduate and also graduated from Berry College in Georgia with a teaching degree. He joined the Coast Guard and settled in Webster, MA.
After moving to Dudley he began his teaching tenure at the former Intermediate School (now Park Avenue School) he later became principal of Bartlett High School before retiring. ’Jack’ was a noted hunter and also enjoyed fishing and gardening.
As per his request, there are no calling hours, Graveside Services will be private at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The United Church of Christ, Federated, 4 Church St., Webster, MA. 01570.
The ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster is assisting the family with arrangements.
