Donald Ray Melton age 68 of Water Valley, Ms died at his home Saturday morning May 27, 2006. Mr. Melton was a retired Warehouse Manager for Sears and a member of Mt. Liberty Church. He served his country in the U S Army and he served a tour in Vietnam.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Monday evening, May 29, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and funeral services will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kevin Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens south of Water Valley, MS.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Streeter Melton of Water Valley, MS: daughter, Melissa Koonce of Blytheville, AR: son, Billy Melton of Water Valley, MS: sisters, Carolyn Richard of Greenville, MS, Gladys Fagan of Olive Branch, MS and Nita Nichols of Memphis, TN: brothers, Isaac Melton of West, MS, H. T. Melton of West, MS and Layton Melton of Drummonds, TN: and two grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, N. L. Melton and Willa Mae Terry Melton.
