She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Rebecca McFeeley, sisters Mary and Helen, and brother Daniel. Theresa is survived by her husband Charles E. McCann Sr., sister Kay Herrett, children Charles and wife Kathy McCann Jr., Kathleen Cooke, Lorraine McCann, Paul McCann Sr., and Barbara McCann, as well as grandchildren Christopher, Meagan, Matthew, Michael, Allyson, Daniel, Kaitlyn, Paul Jr. and Kerri Ann, and great grandchildren Addison, Sam, Leonardo, Rafael, William, Olivia, Michelangelo, Aiden, Finley, and Donatello.

Theresa was born in Medford, Massachusetts on March 23, 1930 where she grew up before marrying Charlie and moving to New York where she lived for about 40 years. There she raised her five children as a stay-at-home Mom, and later working as a school secretary and Licensed Practical Nurse. Theresa was a devoted wife and mother who raised her children with love and devotion. In addition to being a super Mom to 5 children with all that entails, she decided in her 40’s to enroll in nursing school to become an LPN. She earned her LPN degree and worked at several hospitals and nursing homes in New York and Florida. She lived in Peekskill, New York for 36 years and upon her husband Charles’ retirement moved to Florida where they lived for many years. They split their time between Florida and the northeast until recently when they moved to Andover, Massachusetts. Theresa’s greatest love was her family, her love of reading, traveling with family and friends, and spending summers with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren on Cape Cod.

Theresa was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who will be missed, but always loved and remembered, by those she leaves behind.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West in Medford on Friday December 9th at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted.
