Mrs. Antonette L. (Lomastro) Pawlik, a longtime resident of Andover and beloved wife of the late Michael M. Pawlik, passed away at her home on Monday, November 28, 2022. She was 101 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on June 13, 1921, she was the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Amalia (Lombardi) Lomastro.
Her husband, Michael Matthew Pawlik, founded Michael's Motors in Lawrence. They raised three children. Antonette was a vibrant member of the Andover community, leading scouts and Camp Fire Girls when the children were young. Tony, as many knew her, was an avid participant in numerous fitness classes at the YMCA for nearly four decades after her husband’s passing.
Antonette enjoyed family gatherings, gardening around her home, walking with her friend and neighbor, Kathy and playing Queen’s in recent years. She also enjoyed traveling the world with friends in her younger days. She will be dearly missed.
Antonette is survived by her loving children; Pamela Wiebler of Andover, Michael M. and his wife Muriel Pawlik of Wells, Maine and Mark M. and his wife Darlene M. Pawlik of Raymond, New Hampshire, grandchildren; Stacey, Neal, Ashley, Jessica, Jason, Julie and Michael, great-grandchildren; Alexis, Ezekiel, Ainsleigh, Clementine, Benjamin, Christopher, and Chloe as well as nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Sam Borelli, Leonard Lomastro, Alfred Lomastro and Carmine Lomastro.
Her funeral will be held from the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on December 10th at 10am. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 9th form 2-5:30. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence with her late husband.
