Obituary

Worcester: Gerard Levesque, 85, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He leaves three daughters, Karen Dabson, Lisa Tran, and Suzanne Wheeler; four sons - Gerard, Richard, Kevin, and Thomas Levesque; a brother Rene Levesque of Worcester, 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years Margaret "Peggy" Rose (Cote) Levesque, a brother Joseph Levesque and by a sister Marlene.

Gerard was born in Worcester, son of the late Joseph and Doris A. (Gervais) Levesque. He graduated from high school and worked as a facilities supervisor at UMASS Memorial Medical Center for many years. He enjoyed vacationing along coastal Maine, loved vacations to Old Orchard Beach in Maine, NASCAR, going to the race track, taking log rides with his wife to Vermont, watching New England sports and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.


Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street Worcester, MA 01605 on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. A funeral will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. In remembrance of Gerard, the family asks that you make a contribution to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or the American Cancer Society.
