Jordan Daniel Wells, 34, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, December 5, 2022, at Dorminy Medical Center, in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, December 9, 2022, at Crossview Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Jody Silvers and the Rev. Joey Dean officiating. Yancey Guthrie and Brian Wells will deliver eulogies. Interment will follow in the New Corinth Cemetery, in Ben Hill County, Georgia. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Jordan was born December 8, 1987, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to Danny & Denise Wells. He was a 2006 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and received his LPN from South Georgia Technical College. Mr. Wells owned and operated Wells & Co. Restorations. Jordan loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a devoted husband and father and a dedicated friend to many. He was a people person and enjoyed sports. He was very competitive in a good way and will be greatly missed by all. Jordan’s faith and his church family were an important part of his life and he was an active member of New Corinth Calvary Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Huckaby Wells of Fitzgerald; his four children: Lakyn Wells, Brecken Wells, Ryder Wells and Zane Wells; his father and mother: Danny & Denise Wells of Fitzgerald; a brother, Brian & Karesa Wells of Blanchard, Oklahoma; two nephews: Jasper Wells and Sawyer Wells; a niece, Emery Wells; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Craig & Jennifer Huckaby and brothers and sisters-in-law: Ethan & Ashley Carlton and their children, Justin & Leigh Ann Cole and their children, and Brooke Huckaby. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
