Sterling - Robert A. Barriere, 55, of Sterling formerly of Worcester died in his home on Saturday May 27 after an illness.
He is survived by a son Chris Brown; four brothers David of Rochdale, Richard of Spencer, Francis of Leicester and Ronald of Sterling; two sisters Mary Colburn of Sterling and Susan Whaland of Athol; 19 Nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews.
Mr. Barriere was born in Worcester son of Omer and June (Barton) Barriere and worked as a crane operator for 20 years at Cotton Scrap Metal in Worcester.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 30 at 7:30 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 7:30 PM before the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
