In Raynham, Joseph DeChristopher Jr., age 80, passed away in Life Care Center of Raynham while surrounded by his loving family on December 2, 2022. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Marjorie (Blue) DeChristopher. He was born in Boston, the son of the late Joseph DeChristopher Sr. & Margaret (Griffin) DeChristopher.
Joseph was a Taunton resident for many years and was formerly of Brockton. He was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and also attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Joseph was employed as a career machinist. Joseph was a Ham Radio Operator, he enjoyed watching golf, had many other hobbies but above all cherished his time with family.
Joseph is survived by his loving children; Joseph DeChristopher III and his wife Siobhan of East Dennis MA, Michelle England and husband Maurice of Berkley and Stacey DeChristopher of East Taunton. He also leaves his grandchildren; Meaghan, John, Cameron, Samuel and Kevin, great grandchildren; Estelle and Genevieve, and sister Janice Rumpf of Hyde Park.
Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, December 6th from 10-11am. A funeral home service will be held at 11 am. Burial will be at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
